How it works

Talk in your agent, render in Athana

The agent is the conversation. Athana is the cast, the price and the render. Nothing is spent until you say yes.

Claude Code · Athana connected

Make a 9:16 scene with Mia: a collision on a wet Manhattan sidewalk, a business card, a decision. About 10 seconds.

list_characters

Found Mia (@mia), ready to cast. Here is the scene:

1990s NEW YORK, WET SIDEWALK, DUSK. @mia walks fast under a dark umbrella, head down. A stranger steps out of a doorway; they collide, her bag spills.
He kneels, hands her a business card instead of an apology. She reads it. A beat. She looks up, and he is already walking away.
Sound: rain on taxis, one distant horn, no music. TEXT: none.

10 s at 720p is 70 credits, you have 480. Render it?

Yes.

create_videoget_video

Rendering, about three minutes. Done: the video is at the link on the right, and the project is open in your Film Studio if you want a second take.

    Connect once

    Paste one URL into ChatGPT, Claude or Cursor and sign in with your Athana account. Athana shows up as a tool.

  2. 02

    Talk

    Ask for a scene with your character. The agent reads your cast, writes the prompt with you and quotes the price. No credits spent while you edit.

  3. 03

    Render

    Say yes. The scene renders in your Film Studio on your credits; the agent brings back the link and the project.

Tools

Eight tools and one prompt

Every tool takes Athana objects: a character, a preset, a job. The model, the price and the paywall stay the same as in the app.

list_characters

Your characters with ids to cast, plus the shared community cast.

→ [{ id, name, handle, look, ready }]
create_character

A new character from a description or the user's photos: sheet drawn, saved, ready to cast.

{ name: "Sam", description: "…", gender: "Man", age_range: "25-35" }
write_scene

Mira writes one scene from a brief, in the renderer's grammar. Free.

{ brief: "Sam finds the letter", character_ids: [...] }
create_video

Renders a scene on Seedance 2.5. Quotes the price with estimate_only first.

{ prompt, character_ids, seconds: 10, aspect: "9:16" }
recreate_preset

Re-shoots a viral preset with your character and renders it.

{ preset_id: "fallen-knight", character_ids: [...] }
get_video

Progress while it renders, then the video, the poster and the project link.

{ job_id } → { status, video_url, project_url }
get_credits

Balance, plan and what a render costs.

→ { credits, plan, prices }
sceneprompt

Loads Athana's director grammar so the agent writes the scene itself.

  2. 2Name it Athana, paste the server URL, keep Authentication on OAuth.
  3. 3Tick I understand, click Create as a plugin, sign in with Athana and allow access.

No key: the client opens Athana's sign-in and you allow access once.

Runs on your plan credits

No API plan, no second wallet. Top up or upgrade in the app, as always.

Price quoted before every render

estimate_only returns the credits a scene costs and your balance. The agent asks, then renders.

Connections you can revoke

Every client you allow is listed in Settings, Agents. Revoke one and it stops at its next call.

FAQ

Common questions

Yes. The client signs in with it, so the agent works as you: your characters, your credits, your Film Studio. Every connection is listed in Settings, Agents, and you can revoke it there any time.
